Filter Press is an intermittent solid-liquid separation equipment, which achieves effective separation of solids and liquids through pressure action. Filter Press working principle is mainly based on two processes: pressure filtration and press dewatering. In the feed filtration stage, the material enters the filter chamber under pressure, and the solid particles are retained by the filter cloth to form filter cake, while the filtrate is discharged through the filter cloth to realise preliminary solid-liquid separation. Subsequently, in the press filtration stage, the water in the filter cake is squeezed out by applying further pressure, thus reducing the water content of the cake.
